Progress update #55


Good evening—or whatever time zone you're vibing in! This is your favorite cat-shaped developer, Stray Paranormal, popping in on this beautiful sunny (☀️), rainy (🌧️), or snowy (❄️) evening—underline the correct one—to bring you the latest bit of game development gossip. 😸

🎨 Special Renders This week I wrapped up a set of monthly special renders for our Creative Contributors—of which we currently have exactly one. 😂 You know who you are. I hope you liked it!

🛠️ Backstage Part 2 Still chipping away at Backstage Post #2, where I break down how I build complex scenes—complete with screenshots, render tests, and painful memories. It’s currently aimed at Director-level patrons, of which I also have exactly zero, so… no rush. (Though between you and me, I might open it up to all patrons… but shhh, you didn’t hear that from me. 🤫)

🎬 Scene Progress I’m just about done with Scene 3 (for real this time), and I’ve started designing Scene 20, which needed a big new set. Unfortunately, Daz Store didn’t have what I needed—so I cracked open 3DS Max. "Why not Blender?" you may ask. Because Blender is scary, and I have the attention span of a cat watching a laser pointer. 💻🔥

🎤 Singer Search Saga Continues Still no luck finding a female singer for Chioko’s songs. It’s been frustrating as heck. If you know someone with a voice that sounds like bottled lightning, send them my way!
